Yolo Board 2013

In early 2012 we were approached by our friends at IWDFF to collaborate on some graphics for the popular SUP board company Yolo Boards. How could we refuse? We’re happy to announce the 2013 line is finally here! Enjoy a sampling of the graphics and custom hand-drawn type we created for the their various board lines as well as their carbon fiber paddles.

January’s Surf Expo was a blur as we filled our day with meetings with various clients new and old. Here are some inspirations we found along the way.

Real Thread 2012 Card

As the end of the year was approaching, our friends at Real Thread wanted to capture a bit of the happenings of the year and send their clients and friends a card to remember. They’re a growing company with lots happening so it was fun to choose a few things to illustrate with graphics … The owner’s wife had a baby, they had 4 of the staff get married, and they printed over 150,000 shirts (crazy).

We decided on a vertical 2/1 silkscreened card using the Real Thread blue and metallic silver. The crew at Mama’s Sauce printed them and the results were great. As an added bonus we included a custom die-cut t-shirt branded with a custom Real Thread snowflake.

Real Thread Lookbook 1

In the Fall of 2012, our friends at Real Thread asked us to help show off their water base and discharge printing capabilities and highlight some of their amazing and creative clients in their first ever printed Lookbook. The project came with contraints of size (8.5″ x 5.5″) and page count (28pg), but we were still able to show off over 60 pieces of apparel and tell a bit of the Real Thread story and processes.

Shirts that Help

We recently created Going Coastal, a fun beach-themed tee for New York-based clothing company YOU&WHO. You & Who sells designer tees to help worthy causes in cities across the country. G23 Reveal Party

On March 31st, we were lucky to be invited to Nautique’s mid-season reveal of their new flagship boat, the G23. It was a quite the spectacle … team riders arrived by jet and a huge hanger revealed 3 versions of the boat. There was food, music and all the Red Bull you could drink, so all the invitees were having fun.

All-in-all the boat looked great inside and out … it featured an innovative hull design that’s been 3 years in the making and a host of other cool additions to the interior like tons of storage and really nice upholstered detailing. Great job everyone!
