The Vans Photo Op Slip ons

I figured it was time to try my hand at my own custom shoes. What better thing to paint than what Hydro74 calls my obsession, Vintage cameras. It’s true I can’t resist em. These shoes feature a sampling of a few of my favorites.

I have enough black, white and red shoes so a pair with some browns seemed like the right choice. I used gold, brown and black markers to make this pair happen. Here are a few pictures of the process I went through to create them. Enjoy!

How have the markers held up? I’d love to do a pair myself…where they paint markers? and finally…you got a good spot to order some white slip ons?

The markers have held up pretty good. Although I haven’t taken them into to many treacherous conditions yet. I tried sealing them up with scotchgard, but it tried to bleed them out. Still working on good spots to order for cheap.
