Summit Light Wall

In the Summer of 2011, I was asked to create an art installation based on the bible verse, John 1:5. I decided to incorporate clear vinyl on the deep blue wall to give a shine effect of the words shining like the text describes. On top of the vinyl I decided to create a text treatment made from thousands of connected points, inspired by another bible verse, Matthew 5:14 that talks about the light of the world. The many points create one unified whole.
