The florida WAll

This 33’ wide x 9’ tall wall was a collaboration with the team at Spark-Chicago. They worked on the graphic wallpaper base and we added our unique and layered string art which we’ve become known for on top. The circle in the middle right of Florida represents the Lake Mary area which this office and its team members reside.

For those that like numbers: the Florida shape was created using 537 screws and 1944 ft of string.

Each floor showcases Paylocity’s signature apple/orange logo shape, interpreted in different ways that support the floor’s theme.

THE FLORIDA SPORTS LOGO INSTALLATION

In this logo installation we used over 500 real tickets sourced from sports lovers all around the state of Florida. We included some tickets as old as the 1940-50s like one from a 1948 University of Florida game with Vanderbuilt. Other notable tickets included the Orlando Magic playoffs tickets (previously encased in Plexiglas) and some awesome 1980s Daytona event tickets. The pennant flags portion featured a mixture of vintage and newer flags, including a University of Florida pennant from the 1940s. These collages of Florida only team pennants and event tickets nod to teamwork and symbolize coming together to build something better. We worked really hard to source tickets for just about everyone, whether it be your favorite college or pro sports team.

Florida is a destination for many, so the travel mindset inspired the many textures, colors and layers seen throughout the travel floor

The VINTAGE Values INSTALLATION

For this installation we fabricated Paylocity’s 9’ tall apple orange logo and attached over 400 custom-made vintage hotel keys and over 100 pairs of bright sunglasses inside. The hotel keychains were custom made in 10 different styles. five keychains showed the company values and five others showed inspiring messages. To showcase them best, we created a giant pattern, alternating keychains as it went down. The sunglasses area offered an element of fun seen from across the office space and also referenced the brand colors of red and orange.

Custom SPorts-Themed Cafeteria Lettering

For the sports-themed floor we created large letters for their cafeteria. These large scale letters were made with custom cut maple boxes. For the Letter E, we applied over 200 vintage playing cards featuring baseball, football, hockey, WNBA and NBA cards including Michael Jordan, Scotty Pippen and for football lovers a Tom Brady card made its way in. The letter A's was build slightly different with a maple frame and it’s green interior was made from the same astroturf used on ESPN sports fields, and the letter T was made from a 60s basketball court floor taken from a Central Florida middle school in the 90s and found in Deland vintage lovers shed.
